As you can imagine, this hotel features motor sports-themed amenities, including a 2nd floor lobby with multiple vintage race cars on display. The 2nd floor balcony at night, with everything lit up outside, is an awesome view.

The bed and pillow were super soft and comfortable, and the fancy body wash and shampoo was a nice added touch. The view of the racetrack from the room added to the uniqueness of the hotel.

The Blue Flame at The Daytona Hotel
The Daytona Hotel features the Blue Flame, a modern, car-themed restaurant, with an indoor and outdoor bar, overlooking the action on Victory Circle. Blue Flame serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, cocktails, and beers. The food and service were very good. I highly recommend the Blue Flame Nachos, Speedway Wings, and the Full Throttle Burger.
Things to Do Near the Hotel and Around Daytona Beach
Being so close to the Daytona International Speedway, makes it convenient to take an exciting tour of the speedway, Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, or the NASCAR Ride Along Experience.
One Daytona entertainment plaza is right outside the hotel in victory circle. There you’ll find a movie theater in addition to Game Time, an ultimate game room with over 100 interactive games, full-service dining, and over 60 HDTVs in a sports bar.
One Daytona offers multiple restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Some favorites are BurgerTen, 4 Rivers Smokehouse, Tianos Italian Restaurant, P.F. Chang’s, and Rock Bottom Restaurant & Breweries.
For dessert, head to Crumbl Cookies, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Ben & Jerry’s, or Smoothie King.

Down the street (by car) from The Daytona hotel, is the Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure. The Tanger Outlets and Buc-ees are less than 4 miles from the hotel. Buc-ees is an experience of its own where you can fill your auto’s gas tank, use the cleanest restrooms ever, and shop for food, drinks, and tons of merchandise in the huge Buc-ees store.
If you’re heading to the beach, approximately 5.5 miles from the hotel, stop by the Daytona Beach Boardwalk & Pier and the Daytona Lagoon. There are also many good restaurants on the water in Daytona Beach.

The Daytona Hotel is a Big Winner
Whether you’re a Nascar enthusiast, love cars, or just looking for a unique hotel in an iconic city, The Daytona is highly recommended. Located across the street from Daytona International Speedway, and right in the center of Victory Circle at One Daytona, this hotel couldn’t be in a more action-packed location. You could NEVER be bored with so much to do from entertainment and shopping to restaurants and bars … all within walking distance from the hotel.
The Daytona hotel is impeccably clean not only in the hotel room but also in all the public areas. Rooms are extremely spacious with great balcony views. And the race car theme is both charming and unique. The staff was always friendly and accommodating from check in to check out.
As for the added resort fee, I think it’s justifiable as it covers the WIFI, parking, a $15 credit for the hotel’s bar/restaurant for hotel guests. Also, it provides welcome cocktails for 2 guests per stay, bike rentals, daily use of beach chairs, and coolers for beach use. So, you do get something extra for the added resort fee.
